Mandala
The personal mandala is a personality reading without words, so to speak. It is instead a picture, or a portrait of a reading or subject matter of some personal significance, such as a spirit guide or totem. One way to look at it is rather than, for example, a tarot reading, with several distinct cards comprising a reading, a mandala is one single piece that represents the gestalt of the subject, or problem, at hand. The mandala can then be used in meditation, as a tool of self-discovery, or simply as a reminder or snapshot of the moment.
