Description:
I was visiting my Godmother in Chicago and perhaps inspired by my longing for the Pacific Ocean. I may have been inspired as well by the many statues I saw in the city, but writing this now, I can't remember if I drew this after or before I visited the park with the mermaid statues. That particular trip to Chicago was marked by many instances of foreshadowing visions and dreams.
