A lot of people draw faeries concentrating on being cute. Every figure I do involving the image of a person concentrates on the individual there. This spirit is a whole being, not just window dressing for the garden.

What I like about this picture is the play of the flower as a plane that gives depth to the picture while it star-bursts at her feet. She and the flower are definitely interacting energies.
