Description:
I named this after one of the bands my brother played in.
This work was done by request of Atomic Rocket Games as what was supposed to be a demonstration of my ability to create something 'super-deformed.' I was then unfamiliar with the term which really refers to a Manga-type style or Japanese animation style figure with a more cartooned appearance with very large eyes, rounded or child-like proportioned face and head, short bodied, sometimes overly stated male or female characterization with long limbs and a clean style. So you can imagine how this one might have come as a surprise.
When I learned what they meant, I quickly went about another sketch, but I liked this one a lot. I think the fact that he showed up where he wasn't really supposed to be made him even more endeared to me. I often have the feeling that I'm a little out of place.
